I worked in Bellevue for years, and you don't walk in Belleve - anywhere. Once those buildings are filled with people and their cars, I imagine the streets will be (more) clogged and I don't envy the residents when they need to go out for a carton of milk. 1+? I'm not kidding. They take something as laudable as LEED standards and turn them on their head with 1+ parking ratios. If I lived in Bellevue, I'd be agitating for a revisitation of parking standards and guidelines, especially now that Link is coming. Regarding parking stalls:

The idea is to break up the superblocks and to bring a pedestrian, bike and transit friendly design to Northgate.
